In 2017, Kat began Studio What Not to share a universe of original illustration and design through art prints, stickers, screen-printed goods, and accessories. In addition to creating her own works, she offers remote custom illustration, graphic design, and transportation proposal services.

Kat is a graduate of both the Fashion Institute of Technology NYC and Purdue University with degrees in fashion design. Prior to Studio What Not, her professional experience includes proposal management, coordination, and graphic design for large-scale transportation projects throughout the country.

When not working in her home studio, Kat can be found catering to her dog and two cats, sketching, amateur juggling, collecting records, or playing pinball.
